100 books within the year.
Starting January 1, 2011.
Ending December 31, 2011.
That’s 365 days, so about 3.65 days per book.

Lofty? Yes.
Worth it? Also yes.

The rule is that it cannot be a book that I’ve already read.

As for the title, One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of my favorite books, and I figured that reading 100 books in only a year will wind up providing me with a great deal of solitude. Please allow me to toot my own horn for being so clever.

I'm really impressed by your goal of 100 books in a year! I totally believe you can do it. :) I am trying to read 52, because I figure a book a week is a perfectly reasonable goal. I love reading, so I'm really excited.

PS- I also love One Hundred Years of Solitude, so I think your blog title's great. :)

Thanks :)

I’m realizing that I’m having to reassess my goals for this year. Unfortunately, I’m not very good at predicting the future and didn’t foresee all of the things that would be coming my way this year.
