One Hundred Books of Solitude

100 books within the year.
Starting January 1, 2011.
Ending December 31, 2011.
That’s 365 days, so about 3.65 days per book.

Lofty? Yes.
Worth it? Also yes.

The rule is that it cannot be a book that I’ve already read.

As for the title, One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of my favorite books, and I figured that reading 100 books in only a year will wind up providing me with a great deal of solitude. Please allow me to toot my own horn for being so clever.

This is fish number six hundred and forty-one in a lifetime of a goldfish. My parents bought me the first one to teach me about loving and caring for another living breathing creature of God. Six hundred and forty fish later, the only thing I know is everything you love will die. The first time you meet that someone special, you can count on them one day being dead and in the ground.
